  1. The Duo Battery Patch (Extension) has been developed to resolve a problem discovered with some PowerBook Duo 210/230/250's, with Express Modems installed, using version 1.0 of the PowerBook Duo Enabler. The problem is that the PowerBook Duo battery won't recharge and the Battery DA shows blank or empty. Apple recommends that all Duo users upgrade to version 1.0 of the PowerBook Duo Enabler. Users of 210's, 230's, or 250's, with Express Modems installed, should also install the Duo Battery Patch. Users of 270c's do not need to install this patch.
